Mammillaria spinosissima rubrispina

Mammillaria spinosissima f. rubrispina is a desirable cultivar of M. spinosissima due to its striking red spines. This columnar cactus is usually found as a solitary plant, but may eventually form clusters as it matures. Its length never exceeds 30 centimeters, making it a compact choice for any collection.
