Mammillaria marksiana

Mammillaria marksiana is a cactus featuring a round stem with pointed tubercles that hold sparse yellow spines. As it matures, the stem takes on a slightly columnar shape and produces offsets. The stem is typically light green, but can turn yellow in bright light. It can reach heights of 6 inches (15 cm) and widths of 5 inches (12.5 cm). When in bloom, the plant is covered in a layer of fluffy white wool. The flowers are bold yellow-green, measuring 0.6 inches (1.5 cm) in length and diameter, and usually emerge in late winter or early spring.

Please Note: Plant will ship bare root with little to no dirt, and you will receive a plant similar to the one in the photo. It is advised to handle this plant with caution and use gloves or tongs as it is covered in spines.
