Kalanchoe 'orgyalis'

The Kalanchoe 'orgyalis' is a succulent shrub with stout, erect, and much-branched stems. Its fleshy, ovate leaves fold upwards from the middle and are covered with short hairs that give them a glabrous appearance. While it slowly grows up to 6.6 feet (2 m) tall, it is typically seen as a smaller plant. The leaves are bronze to gray underneath, while the top side is covered with fine cinnamon-colored hairs that eventually turn to the same color as the lower surface. Measuring up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length and 4 inches (10 cm) in width, they are quite sizable. Bright yellow flowers appear in clusters at the branch tips during late winter through early spring.
