Hoya Hindu Rope

Derived from the Hoya carnosa, the Hindu rope plant (Hoya carnosa 'Compacta' or 'Krinkle Kurl') is a unique version of the porcelain flower or wax plant. With its lush, waxy foliage, distinctive curling vines, and striking blooms, this vine-like plant is a popular choice for houseplants in North America, known for its ease of care, slow growth, and longevity. Originating from East Asia and Australia, the Compacta variety boasts a pendulous growth habit and cascading vines and leaves, making it a perfect choice for hanging baskets or elevated shelves. In addition to its striking appearance, the plant produces fragrant, tiny star-shaped flowers in ball-shaped clusters that can last for several weeks.
