Euphorbia aeruginosa

This succulent, Euphorbia aeruginosa, boasts spiny stems that are a striking copper green color. The stems are cylindrical or subcylindrical, growing up to 12 inches (30 cm) in height. Each stem is densely covered in sharp, reddish spines in pairs, giving it a unique appearance. The stems and branches have a 4 or 5-angled shape, although these angles are not always visible except for the arrangement of reddish spine shields. The branches can reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length and 0.3 inches (0.8 cm) in diameter.
