Cylindropuntia Whipplei

C. whipplei (Engelmann and Bigelow) is a cactus known for its jade green color and pale spines. During the spring, this species produces yellow flowers from the stem tips, adding a refreshing lemony scent to the air. Its remarkable resilience allows it to thrive even when damaged or grazed.

Handle safely: Opuntia species contain small, sharp glochids that can easily detach and become loose during shipment. To protect yourself, use tongs or twisted newspaper when handling and avoid direct contact with skin and gloves.
